Title: Winning $1,000 Cold Cash
Post by: chris gadsden on October 01, 2006, 02:37:34 PM: Was down today selling tickets today at Fred's Custom Tackle for the Chilliwack River Action Committee Fundraiser. Once again first prize is $1,000, second $500 and third $250. Contact Rodney or myself for tickets at only $10 each. This includes a free salmon BBQ with a ticket as well. Come up and do some fishing on Oct. 14 and take in the event as well.

Rodney may post some pictures of some of the ticket sales that took place today. ;D ;D

Yes that would be great, thanks for your offer. It you can drop them off at Fred's that would be excellent, thanks again for your support of the Chilliwack River Action Committee as we continue to improve fish habitat on the Chilliwack and Vedder River.

Post by: chris gadsden on October 15, 2006, 09:49:45 AM: Thanks to everyone that bought tickets, donated prizes, and bid on items in the silent auction and live auction. I ended up with another rod and some of the Kodiak Rolling Swivels, thanks Griz for your generous donation of so many swivel packages and the reel covers etc. We were able to make 6 different lots for the silent auction part of the fund raiser. I find these swivels are the best on the market.

Also thanks to Big Steel and the boys that donated the $100 from their catch and release chinook derby. ;D

Ed from Chilliwack picked up the $1,000 cold cash, I did not mark down the other winners but if it was you I imagine you got a phone call by now. ;D

I thought that the people at the Fish&Game Club put on a good show, including the food,the live auction and the guy yelling for the auction. They always crack me up :D
