Title: Brownsville bar September 18th
Post by: *Lil Fisherman* on September 18, 2005, 05:08:25 PM

MY SECOND FRASER HUMPY!!!!!!!!!

I finally grabbed another humpy at brownsville today. My first fish on was a really strong.... something. I didn't see the fish but it ripped about 75 yards out of my reel, everyone was looking at me but they didn't feel like pulling in there lines so the fish got caught up and snapped me off :(. Whatever it was it was angry and raring to get away.  A long time after that I hooked into a fish that was off my hook in a matter of 15 seconds. My next cast, BOOM, a fish hit hard and took some line, I finally brought him in with some help from a nice guy next to me. I was joking around with the other guys saying it was probably the same fish ;D. Being the curious person I am,when I was cleaning the fish I noticed that there were two hook holes :P. Anyways most of the fish that were caught were all odd ones, that meaning, just about every fish was caught in a 20 minute period.

Not very sporting of the other guys for not pulling in their lines when you're fighting your fish.

Ya it is, my buddy Ron that I met at brownsville actually sells them but he gave me a couple samplers. And let me tell you, they really work, alot. No one was catching anything for about an hour and nothing moving, all of a sudden boom, FISH ON! To me, that meens that....they really work. So if your down there on the weekend, ask around for him and he will probably sell you some. $4.00 each or three for ten I think.

ya, if you can find Old Yale road once you get off the putollo, then take that road all the way down to the water and your there, lol. the best place to fish is off the rocks, but beware off big metal pieces under water ;D
