We were on the Upper Pitt on Sunday. The water was extremely low and clear for this time of year. We got a few bullies but no real fish yet. It is hard to believe its so cold.

What are happening with hydo projects on the river?

Where are all the larger "sea run bull trout?"They say its prime time now!

How was the lake for boating? I've heard the wide, tide, and deadheads make it interesting!

There was a fair amount of  small debris. Definately tricky,best to stick to the markers if you are new other wise you could get into trouble. Beware of the flats.

I'm assuming you went right up the river? How long is it from the launch by boat? What type and size of boat are you running. I have a 16ft semi v jon boat but I'm not too sure about the chop and wind that I hear blow up quickly on the Pitt.

Just because you dont find them doesnt mean the big dollies are not there...with the pressure that river has been getting they are wising up quickly,try not to fish right after a weekend unless you are willing to farther than most boats. the other thing we have found is that the dollies come through in waves, almost like migrating salmon, take your time on the river and you will be rewarded.....
