Well a couple buddies and I headed down to the lower river today, and since know one else had a report, I'll reply to my own post, however sad that is!!!!!!
Got to the lower river around 1pm, after not a whole lot of success on the upper. Looked at a few places that produce fish, but not enough water yet.  So went to the standby spot.  As expected on the second cast hooked into about a 6lb doe (Pink) in really nice shape.  The bite didn't slow the whole time that we were there.  Searun took home his limit of 4, and gt took home one nice doe as well.  We also let go a human!!!!!  That is because I lost a fish earlier that day, The fish ( searun thinks it was a pink, I think it was a coho.  Hit hard and I was using pink roe) spit the hit and drill me in the jaw with the hook.  Set nice and deep as well.  So I will thank seaarun for not laughing while he was taking the hook out of my face!!!!!! GT on the other hand!!!!

thanx for the report. good thing you didn't get your eyes. :-\

Yes searun thanks again for the removal of the hook. Well one would expect ribbing for something like that.  I was just a little annoyed at myself for doing it in front of you. :P :P

Why only the Vedder?

Possibly because this is a Vedder report?

Did he mention only the Vedder River? Or was he required to list out the thousands of river systems that exist in this province?

Give it a rest. Sure trying very hard to stay away from the flossing debates. ::)

But when the springs and coho show up isn't tamahi and allison pool a bit of a gong show as well?  It has been when I've stopped to watch!!!!! :-\ :-\ Just wondering, cause I wouldn't fish those places as well if they were the last holes to fish.  I stick to fishing runs not deep pools. Just one mans opinion!!!!!
