Title: Near real time satellite images
Post by: coastangler on January 05, 2023, 09:42:11 AM
Hi everyone, I wanted to fly fish in a lake but don't want to make the drive if the lake is frozen. Do you know of any Google-Earth like apps that have more recent satellite imagery? The few ones I tried in the app store that claim to be "live" are either the same images than Google Earth or a few months old. Thanks!

Thanks! Seems that this tool will have the answers that I need. Do you have recommendations on your preferred dataset? So far seems like Sentinel-1 AWS is the closest one. The images are a bit blurry but seems that the lake is not frozen so the drive may be worth. Thanks!
