Vedder River water conditions?
« on: April 26, 2006, 08:19:15 PM »

Hi everyone, I'll be getting back into town saturday morning and was hoping to spend the weekend out on the river before it closes down. I was wondering if any one has seen the river latley or knows what the conditions are like. I realize that the water has jumped substantially over the last week and I want to know how much it has effected the visibility.

Water was in mint condition this evening around 6. The rain has also stopped here in the Wack so the river should stay in shape. No fish in the hour I fished this afternoon but I hooked 3 on Friday...

A river is never quite silent; it can never, of its very nature, be quite still; it is never quite the same from one day to the next. It has its own life and its own beauty, and the creatures it nourishes are alive and beautiful also. Perhaps fishing is only an excuse to be near rivers. - Haig-Brown
