Title: Backyard grow op
Post by: Rodney on August 13, 2009, 06:00:04 PM
So what do you grow in your backyard?

Our cherry tomatos are still a couple of weeks away from harvest.

Anyone know what this is?

Pea Pods ??? And Beans??  Already  ???

What are you using in that soil?  Miracle Grow?  :D

My Missus and I just finished planting the last of the first batch last weekend.

The garlic bulbs that I missed last fall are doing very well already.  The Lettuce, Radishes and Red Beets are progressing very well.  However - no where near how your peas and beans are doing.

Maybe gardening is more your forte from what I  keep reading ;D

With some neglect, you end up with too much junk in the trunk. This cucumber is off to Jenny Craig.

Here's an update. Our lettuces were destroyed by slugs overnight a few weeks ago. :(

We've been eating spinach.

Tonight we ate our first zucchini of the season.

Hundreds of cherry tomatoes are about to ripe.
