Hakai Pass
« on: July 10, 2006, 06:07:26 AM »

Hey all, spent the last four days fishing in Hakai pass, stunning scenery in what is fast becomeing one of the few remaining wild places. The fishing did'nt live up to the hype but then that would have been a tall order. Thankfully the whales kept us entertained during the slow times. The weather cooperated for the most part except for the last day when the wind blew hard and the sea got lumpy. No one should return from that area without the obligatory story of bobbing around like a cork. Did manage too bring four springs too the boat,15,16,22 and 30lbs and lost a few more.

Our tradition is that of the man who sneaked away too the creek when the tribe did not need fish. Roderick Haig-brown.
