The Stamp River December 8th and 9th, 2007
« on: December 11, 2007, 10:09:01 AM »

I went over to Port Alberni and fished with Nick from http://www.westcoastrivercharters.ca It was awesome as usual but man was it cold. We fished Saturday which was really cold and then Sunday which was warmer and had a nice dusting of snow. Enjoy the photos.

Hey kelso, are you allowed to continue angling after you kill your second on the stamp? I have heard mixed opinions on this and figured Nick would know.
No. Once you have bonked two (per person) you are done for the day. On a good day,  assuming you don't catch and release you can be off the river before noon. I should have clarified but you can only keep two hatchery fish.

How do the guides feel about clients wanting to release hatcheries, especially females since they like to keep the roe?

If you don't want to keep the fish, tell the guide and back she goes.
