Suicide Creek December 3rd, 2007
« on: December 05, 2007, 09:56:23 PM »

For those interested in going out again for cohos.

My buddy Ole, his son and grandson went to Suicide Creek  2 days ago and even in the high water, they landed 6 chrome hatchery cohos. They were into a bunch of others.

I guess these must be the late run....

The water level fluctuates greatly unlike other systems, the fishing result also reflects it. It maybe good during higher discharge earlier this week, but it may have died down as the water will drop fast due to colder nights, if not already. Not always the case, but you never know. That's fishing.

There was no pool when the water was really high. They were using wool and roe.

They were just lucky. The late fish come in fast and move upriver just as fast.It takes  4-5 days to go from super high to super low.
