Just picked up a Stach centrepin, stamped Stach #11 made in Surrey B.C. February 1972. Looks like a design based on a silex. Any further info would be appreciated.

Hey, thanks for posting that Picture of those reels...I have one of those Pacific Steelheaders, mine looks the same...I have never seen one like it until now...here's a pic of it as well...

that Stach looks exactly like a Silex except for the spool engage/disengage is a little different. very nice reel ;D

Thanks guys, just sent in for a tune up, may have to give it a whirl shortly afterward ;), will probably be the first time in a decade, two or three its seen water :o
