Hello,
I've moved over to the mainland recently and I'm looking for suggestions for places I could take my rifle to do some target practice out on crown land. I know lots of places back home, but I have no clue of any good spots in the lower mainland. I was thinking there would be some good spots up in the squamish area or out in Harrison Mills. Ideally, looking for something with at least a couple hundred yards of range and a nice safe back drop. Thanks for reading folks.

Grab a backroads mapbook and check it out.

Hey Stumps,
I myself am new to the whole shooting on crown land thing. As Humpy said grabbing a backroads mapbook and finding FSR roads is a great investment in time. I was lucky enought to have a few buddies that recommended Sylvester Road in Mission as that is one of the most popular ones to go to. Just make sure you go at least 7 km in from the start of the gravel road. The backstops before there are not the safest.
Best Of Luck
