took the boat out on the upper fraser yesterday. fish from about 1pm till 8pm. there were 10 boats fishing the bar we were at and saw 14 springs hooked 10 of them were landed. Biggest was about 25lbs. we managed to hook one but lost it after a short battle. Did manage to hook a nice 6lbs sockeye but that was it for us!  fish are out there just gotta put your time in. All fish were caught bottom bouncing! Was nice to get out!!!!

Went to an upper river bar and bounced with 2 new fishing friends. Lots of fishermen at the top in wader. Was too busy helping the newbies for the 1st two hours. Finally time to get serious as day is far gone. Went up to join the gang at the top and was rewarded with my 1st 20lber of the season. Nice yummy spring dinner. Tight line.
