Man taking pics??
« on: September 04, 2005, 12:24:36 AM »

Some guy was going around saying he was with Salmon, Steelhead and Trout magazine today!  Said he was taking pics and was possibly publishing them.  Only asked for a donation to cover battery expences etc.  Anybody run into this joker and if so did you get sucked in?  Saw a couple of guys taken by him today!

guy is about 5'8", longer blonde hair.  Medium built!  Had a few cameras with him, looked the part but just didnt add up!  Guy is about 45, believe he has a mustache or wimp stache! went right down the line at Peg asking everybody.  One guy questioned him and had heard on another website about someone doing this, he said it was interesting and that he would check the website to see what they are saying about him!  Found it interesting, I told him that he could take a pic but I had no money as I never carry my wallet to the river!

Sounds similar to the description of what Ive heard as well about this guy.

Any reputable photographer for any reputable magazine or whatever does not solicit money after the picture is taken.

Scams everywhere!!!!!!
