Title: How To Build A Crayfish Trap
Post by: Shmoke Shaman on August 14, 2012, 09:54:42 PM
Thinking about trying to catch some crayfish, intrested in making my own traps. Has anyone made some nice and simple traps before?

Im thinking about attaching two mesh waste baskets together with holes on both ends (pop can entrance).

I think with having a latch holding the two mesh baskets together will be the best for getting the crayfish out.

I found some videos on youtube but maybe you guys might have some suggestions.

Why not just buy a simple galvanised minnow trap?

Cheap online.

Or Just a chunk of netting between two sticks works no need to build anything fancy.
