Too bad Big Steel and I weren't with you and we caught the buggers all together. Imagine their faces if they saw all three of us just standing over them as they were tearing out the stereo. Punks like that need their knee caps adjusted permanently....

Sounds like it's time for a little vigilante bait car action.  Someone should drive up and down the river a couple times pumping some tunes.  Then, leave the car and hide in the bushes with some friends.  If the police were serious about stopping that annual thievery, a couple cars like that would do the trick.

Fished the river today too. Went up top. Some guy comes down and askes if it was me or my fishing partners red truck. My heart jumps a little. "WTF happened now?" i think. Then the guy says "well then i think you dropped this" and hands over a prized Balsa wood float that had fallen out of my vest (that i didn't even notice). I thank the guy, and my heart settles back to the normal beat.

BTW no fish other than chum.

Id like to see my father in law get ahold of those guys he is a very big man with a very mean temper when he gets mad look out, its fun hanging out with him you never know what is going to happen with him around, except for this weekend he was a little settle not usually like him, but he did tell some guy to F-OFF on the river today, as this guy would do one cast then move do another cast move again , did this for like an hour budging in front of everyone, pissing them off, then he tried that with my father in law and he told that guy where to go and how to get there before he got a cast in just ask rick how many idiots were there, i think the 3 of us there were the only ethical anglers there

Maybe he was trying rotational angling?  ???

They popped the Drivers side door handle out , I have seen it before I guess it is a weak spot that the theifs know about  >:( >:(
It makes me angry but unless you can catch them there isn't much that can be done... I guess I am lucky they didn't break the window or cut any wires!!

If you guys catch them, bonk them and leave their tools beside them to be reported on the news.  They will quickly learn that it is not cool to be messing with fishermen.

Man, I'd be happy to not lose the window, the doors and locks are easy to do, When I lived in S.D. I used to leave mine unlocked and a note telling them to go find rich people to rob...I've gotten my windows busted in and THAT SUCKS..especially when you got a long drive home in the rain...unfortunetly, been there, done that >:(
