Title: Stamp River Report - Waters Receding

This Weeks Highlights
Rain systems finally start to back off and the upper Stamp River has stabilized. The conditions are very  high, we have resumed our upper river trips.

Steelhead:
Significant high water events like the one just finishing traditionally brings new fish into the system. It will also result in existing fish making in stream movements upwards as well.

Lower Somass river is still in borderline flood stage but is receding.  All streams feeding the main river have peaked and flows are declining.

The freezing level is coming back down which will further slow down river flows as it gets colder.

The upper river river can clear up pretty quick, but is still very high.

The fish are still looking for salmon eggs so using beads is still the go to tackle.
