hooked and lost another today, one more day, water is in great condition

Fished the gravel pit first thing yesterday, upper incl. Allison in the AM, and mid river after lunch.
My buddy Bill hooked and lost one at Allison using jigs. Nothing for me on the single hander.
Visibility was 2.5-3ft in lower. Above the slide visibility was very high and mid river was good.
