The proportion of four year old Fraser River sockeye has been less than expected in samples collected to-date this season.

What does this mean?    Are there lots of small three year olds or lots of big five year olds?   Anybody know?

Probably more 5's given the huge runs last year....the stragglers are coming in. Doesn't mean much this early in the season.

Don't expect to have a sockeye snagfest, flossfest, meat fishery this year
