Title: Peg Leg cleanup on November 24th, 2007

Just wondering if there will be a clean up at Peg Leg this year????

ps. Why  is no one fishing there anymore?  Is there not Springs, Chums and Coho traveling up stream?

Chris was talking about this the other day when we fished actually. He will probably reply tonight, probably just coming back from fishing right now. :)

Yes we should do that. Lets do it once we are at the end of the coho season and before the steelhead start. No big hurry as the water should remain low now.

I guess we can start asking who would like to take part now, of course that could change once we get a date set as people understandably get tied up with other commitments. Taffydoll do you want to seek help from FishBC, I believe you post there.

Yes Chris I will post on Fish BC once the dates are in place :)  I will even post on Fly BC

I think a firm date should be decided first then people can decide on their attendance.

The visitor is in town for most of November and December. Maybe you should ask her, she moderates on the forum. ;)

We may have to cancel this event as out to Peg yesterday and I saw the river has risen nearly 4 feet covering the area we were going to clean up. It most likely washed everything downstream. I guess we should have tackled it right at the end of the activity there, will know better next year.

I will check it again when the river receded and see if there is anything there and will report back.

Yes and I saw a 5th wheel and some vehicles sitting on the high ground before I went away on Sunday. ??? ::)
