What is your nationality?! where are you from??
My self, I'm from Uzbekistan, which was before a part of Russia until it split up... so.. I'm russian :D but I have my canadian citizenship =)
I'm just interested to see the multiculturalism in these forums!

Actually, one CAN have multiple citizenships in special cases. But you are right, 2 is the standard.

Actually, Canada places no limit on the number of citizenships you are allowed. So dual or multiple is fine.
BTW, Japanese descent, born and bred in East Van, baby!

haha.... if you live in richmond you learn chinese... swear words :P like me.. which is not always a good thing but it's hard to avoid them when 70% of your school is chinese :)

Grandparents on my dads side are Polish/Belgiumese. My dad was born in canada, and so was i so i guess i'm mainly canadian. grandparents on my moms side are canadian/english, but my m om was born in canada also.

I am french. I moved here 10 month ago and hope to stick around for a while. Dealing with immigration Canada is a pain in the A..
First season of salmon here (and in my whole life!) so I get pretty excited. I can't wait for sockeye.

Icelandic and french... But as far as I'm concerned i was born here, so that makes me Canadian :)
My home water is the Vedder, so that is my river background... Started fishing it 22 years ago :)

Hey guys! I never post here, I just watch but this is such an easy one to post to. I am Canadian. Both sides of my family are at least 4 generations deep as Canadians. From what I have found out, it's all England, Scottland, and Ireland before that. I sure would love to trace it back on day as far as I could.

myself...i was born on december 23rd 1988 in the wonderful town of Sydney, Nova Scotia...my family has over 200 years of history in Canada...before it was called Canada and after...and i am of English, Scottish, Irish and German decent...im a mutt you coul say...dont know how the German got in there... :)

German & Irish desent. Born on a Nato Airbase in German (My father was I the RCAF) so I was given birth abroad status. Which means I was given the right to choose citizenship in any of the Nato counties up until I was 25. If I did not choose, which I didn't I automaticly became a Canadian. So I like to tell people I a Canadian by default, make fro some interesting covesation and funny looks.

I was born in Britannia beach and raised in Scotland, Kenya, Rhodesia to a father who is Scottish with Australian citizenship mother was born in the USA to a US father and Scottish mother from the inner hebrides my paternal grandfather and mother were from connemara Ireland my maternal grandmother was hebridean and her husband was from inverness
