Title: ordering from Mudhole
Post by: jim on December 27, 2014, 08:44:11 AM
Question. How long does it take to get an order from them?

I want some spinning guides for a strong rod for springs. Thinking of the Fuji Alconite guides. BMNAG model. They are supposed to be braid resistant, because they are so hard, etc. The price of them is a lot more than aluminum oxide. Any opinions please?

This time of year a couple weeks, otherwise a bit less. They downsides are shipping cost and exchange rate.
I like the Fuji spinning guides because they are stiffer than the PacBay ones.
If you keep your braid clean I don't think you will see grooving with any ceramic guides. If it does happen you could always just replace it - but a few extras.

The shipping costs, right! I will look to see before ordering. It should be posted or show up in the order cart, form when near the end.
Keep the braid clean, you said. So salt water and Fraser river water should be avoided, or washed off.
To wash braided line, do you unspool it into the bath tub and soak it in soapy water?
thanks for the reply.

Just ship to Blaine, LYNDEN, or Sumas and pick it up. Which ever one is closest to you. I use ship happens in Sumas.

There's also customs to add to the list.
