Vancouver Day Trip Lakes, willing to drive 3 hours each way
« on: August 08, 2008, 07:12:53 PM »

Can anybody give me and my buddies a hand in finding a good lake to go within 3 hours, I guess by that I mean this side of Toll booth is best but I would go past that if its far better fishing,

Let me know some good options

Much appreciated if anybody can help,

Jones lake near hope can be pretty good.I haven't been up there in a while but the road was rough last time.

Murphy Lakes up on top , just past the toll booth. Good size rainbow and at a good elevation for this time of year.

Not really a shore fishing lake(s). There is really only one spot to fish from shore and its in the shallow end of the shallow lake.

Road is really good but watch out as there is active logging in the area and those trucks don't stop for anything  :o ,this weekend fishing was pretty good in my books  ;)

Get up there next weekend !!!
