havnt heard anyone talking about vedder chums this year is the river thick right now?

are there any  chums in the (very) lower fraser up untill this time?

There should be lots heading to the stave, vedder, chehalis and harrison rivers.

I wouldnt say lots. I would say that the bulk of the run for chum has gone through but its not done.

There has been a series of commercial fisheries on chum salmon in Georgia Strait in the past two weeks, so expect fishing to be slower than normal.

All Fraser Valley systems, including the Vedder River, will continue to have freshly arrived chum until early December. If you are fishing the Vedder, stick to the lower part of the river if chum is what you are looking for.
