The Nucks skating hard! I don't know what game you were watching but they where hardly skating! When a team can't score on a lengthy 5 on 3 power play, you know you are in trouble!

Miller Time is all I hear lately! Looks like the bottle is empty already boys and the bar has ran out. Time to switch brands or just go home!
Like my post said I only watched sections or portions of the game.
The parts I witnessed the Canucks were skating hard in the checking side of the game. But the Panthers team plays clever hockey as teammates go to the open areas to recieve passes.
On the other hand when the Canucks gained possession the other players on the line just skated into coverage.
As you mentioned on a 5 on 3 they still could not create great scoring opportunities ???
Surely a player could of gotten into an open area to recieve a pass & blast it.
Other players could zoom in for a rebound should it be stopped.

But there was totally no creative playing at all.
Florida is in Calgary & you can see their system is again working.
Team has to have players that "think on the ice" not just a bunch of guys playing as a single player.
Zombie playing will not get this team very far into the playoffs.

It will take a game or two to develop the system I have relayed to them, don't panic. ;) ;D
Yep back at it with a nice win, my system worked like a charm. ;D ;D

Is your system the same as the one used by the Leafs since 1967 ? ;)

I was not an advisor in those days, just was hired when FWR created sports chat. ;D ;D

Chris never mind being an advisor.
Your plans may get lost in the shuffle by the powers that interpret them plus the system has to be taught to the players. And the hardest part is they actually follow the plan to a T on the ice.

Saying all that ,Chris for head coach after the new guy gets fired or replaced down the road.

Tell you one thing the Canucks better come out flying tonight against the tired Flames.
That last game was so shockingly terrible.
Maybe Luongo snake charmed the Canucks thus they just could not subconsciously play hard against their present friend & past teammate of 8 years.
The days before the game the Canucks & Luongo were all hugs & smiles.
Go Canucks Go.

Coaching would be great but I was never drafted which I thought I would as I got a hattrick in one game but was a little late in my career. ;D ;D

Canucks lose again.
Lost for words. >:(
Remember last year about this time.
Canucks imploded & looks like history may repeat itself.
Maybe Torts is right. Too many old legs on this team.
Key players start to burn out at the mid season.

Well at least the Calgary fans are laughing.
Chris for Canucks coach  ! $$$ speaks. ;D ;D

Is not scoring goals part and parcel of the new system ? ;)

FA I hope the Canucks are not using TO's system.
Goals are hard to come by lately. :o
Maybe when they play in Florida & see the sunshine the players will respond & get the goal light to activate.
Nashville is playing very offensive hockey & instead of being 2-0 at end of 1st it could easy be 4-0. Canucks do not help the cause taking 3 penalties.
Thru it all should they pot one it's 2-1 & game on.

The Uncoachables are free falling faster than the Loonie. Got shut out again tonight (2 games in a row for those counting). Chris' system is working like a charm. ;D

Canucks get the W !
My faith is restored as they looked like Stanley Cup contenders in their play over the Flyers.
On the other hand....
Leafs are in trouble.
Reminds me as FA stated  "falling like the loonie" ;D
Leafs like Target Canada, better close "shop". Lost for words on this Ontario franchise.
Hamilton Maple Leafs.

Leaf fans are rejoicing. They scored a goal tonight. Too bad they let in 3, 6th defeat in the last 7 games. Wonder what the advisor will do now.
