Title: Stave river
Post by: fullahead on November 02, 2005, 05:08:17 PM: Has anyone fished the Stave River today? I was wondering what the water level was with the rain we have been having, thought I would try it out to moral. ;D

Post by: bbronswyk2000 on November 02, 2005, 08:19:48 PM: If your in a boat in the Stave you should have some luck. Fish right near the Mills as thats the best spot if your in a boat. Try everything from blades, crocs, spinners etc. If you do you should catch some coho. Good Luck.

Yup trolling does work. Try some kitimats, I have had good success trolling those in the Stave.

Post by: DionJL on November 04, 2005, 03:47:49 PM: Was out there last night in the pontoon boat. Hooked a few nice chum. Had a few "small" fish on. but didnt see them so i wont say wat they could have been lol. saw a few coho jump. All fishing was on the fly.
