Has anyone fished the Stave River today? I was wondering what the water level was with the rain we have been having, thought I would try it out to moral. ;D

I am thinking of heading out in a boat this weekend to the stave and do you think it will any good or is the coho numbers are going down?do you think i should try the chehalis instead ?
-
If your in a boat in the Stave you should have some luck. Fish right near the Mills as thats the best spot if your in a boat. Try everything from blades, crocs, spinners etc. If you do you should catch some coho. Good Luck.

I have heard that the coho hide under the log booms and you should cast right beside them and they come out of hiding and strike your lure.
Trolling there does it work?
