Title: Rod for a song
Post by: bald_seagull on September 01, 2014, 12:20:14 PM
Anyone out there have old rods kicking around that dont ever see the light of day anymore that they are willing to part with? Im looking for a long beach casting rod and a rod I could use to try bottom bouncing as my gear that is stout enough to cast giant weights is too short.

I can offer a box of beer, 50 bucks or whatever depending on the rod

Also i could possibly trade as i have a 7'6 st croix mojo bass MH (landed a 48" muskie with relative ease) spinning rod, a 8'6" 7wt berkley cherrywood series and many cases of rapalas (walleye, bass, pike, muskie), a diawa regal 2000 spinning reel

Im sure theres a few gearheads like me out there, that have stuff that never touches the water anymore

Thanks Dale

Don't think I have anything that fits your criteria but I am very interested in your 10' Browning Six Rivers. Shoot me an email at prayer86@hotmail.com if you are willing to part with it.

Cheers

I have a 10'6 trophy xl 8-17 casting rod that might suit your purposes.
The rod is in great condition except for a missing butt cap.  Yours for $40.
