I'm working at adding trolling to my fishing repertoire and have learned that having a propeller guard can save a lot of frustration (and gear) in helping to keep fishing and downrigger line out of the prop. There are other advantages as well like; focusing propeller thrust and helping to keep swimmers feet away from accidently meeting the prop.
Long story short, I spent a lot of time on the internet, and the phone, trying to not only find one, but get the right size. There's a few around the Lower Mainland but all were wrong size or EXPENSIVE!!
I eventually connected with a Victoria company named Bite Me Too that make a broad, quality range - and their prices are very reasonable. They ship fast as well - ordered Friday and it was here in Surrey on Monday.
Their design seems to be very well thought out and are custom designed for each engine manufacturer. They even powder-coat in the engine colours. Yamaha's are grey, Honda's silver, Merc black,...

(not a fancy website but their products are high quality)
