Hello fishers, a really slow day on my river... no fish surfacing, no fish biting and to top it off I dropped a dozen flies in the river... Anyways, last cast (on my only remaining october caddis nymph) before I was about to quit fishing for ever and I got this scrappy 16 inch trout... So I decided to not quit after all ;)

I am glad you didn't decide to quit fishing forever. ;)
If it makes you feel any better, up north we had one our worst days in a long time. A measly 2 skinny pike to the boat in 6 hours. :-\

Bow river... Can't seem to find many trout there lately.
As for the pike, Biff you should try pike fishing at ice off near a creek mouth. You can find some BIG ones coming back from spawning.
Only 10 more sleeps until a 96 hour salmon fishing extravaganza! ;D
