Title: Ruth Lake (Cariboo), June 27th 2012
Post by: troutbreath on June 28, 2012, 10:51:55 PM
Decided to get the big birch bark out on the lake, with the outboard this time. Last trips the wind was blowing me around but today light winds and overcast. Perfect conditions for some serious kokinee fishing.

With a selection of differant trolling gear and two rods out I methodically went over the water watching the fish finder for signs of big Koke.

Not long I released the first fish which was a trout about 2 lbs. Twenty minutes later first big hit and it stayed on. Got this one to the net, nice sized Koke.

Several fish and after 3 hours fishing I headed back to clean up the catch of the Kokes caught.
