Title: Drift rod ideal length?

For faster waters and float drifting presentations in the vedder what is the ideal rod length?  What rod length do you guys prefer for vedder salmon and steelhead fishing?

i perfere a 10'6 to 11'6 10-20 lb rod for drifting
