Title: Today at seymour river. How to catch Steelhead?
Post by: Piranha on January 28, 2007, 11:06:13 PM
Today I was at seymour river and seen a big fish jump out of the water and it scared the crap out of me. I was not expecting to see a fish that big. lol
The fish had a pink belly. Would that be a stealhead?

Other than that I tryed fishing at a nice deep fishing hole and only caught a rock fish. sad but true the rock fish won. :(

I have no experience with steelhead and would not know what to use.

Spinners? spoons? worm? powerbait? ........grenade? lol j/k

At this time of year it will probably be a steelhead. Were you fishing the upper section ?
