Here is a nice big Pink I picked up yesterday AM. More than double the size of all the other fish we pulled in.

Beautiful fish, Trophy Fisher. I'm just curious, as a new fly fishing I see you are using a floating line... while in a river system, do you ever adapt a sinking leader while fishing them, or do you use a sink tip or weighted fly set up?

The line is a  500gr Rio Skagit compact with 11' of T8 an arms length of fluorocarbon and a TF original steamer  ;D with a cone head
Any more questions or specifics drop me a PM and I'll be happy to answer

My best day ever fishing loon lake. Dads been fishing here for almost 20 years and never had the luck like this. 9 fish in the boat, at least 5 more safely released. ( did i mention it was 2 in the afternoon and this happend within a couple hours?) Smoked rainbows i think so.

The jig worked ok, but I think your fly was working better. ;D

Now you know why I don't catch so many coho when float fishing, my eyes are on the float but my brain is usually somewhere else. ;D
