Title: What a night at the Cap! June 3rd
Post by: Fish Assassin on June 03, 2004, 08:41:16 PM: Gotcha ya ! River is very low and clear. No cohos showing. Not much fishing effort either.

Post by: Randog on June 04, 2004, 07:22:13 AM: Fish my friend. and Fulcrum hit the nail on the head, Whatinhell was I thinking getting up at 3:00am. The water is very low and crystal clear. Don't waste your time. Maybe better off to fish the Chahalis for summers of springs.

Dynamite, Green river USA next week? or should we take out your river Caddy? ;D

Post by: Athezone on June 04, 2004, 01:09:06 PM: Just back from fishing the Cap, got up at 3:30AM and arrived there at first light. Only one other fisherman in the spot I was at and it was pretty, pretty slow. We managed to catch more steelhead smolts than coho. In fact we did'nt get any coho. but we did get 2 wild and 1 hatchery steelhead smolt, HOORAAAY. Water is low, clear and slow. Good fishing all.

Post by: FishKid on June 05, 2004, 09:56:11 PM: This reminds me, a couple of years ago I fished out a nice spinning rod with a shimano 4000 spinning reel(out of the cable pool).
