Hmmmm I thought CRAC wasn't even interested in our piddly sum of money last year, that's why it went to the defense fund!!! Personally I would hate to donate money again to this org.

I know Jim said he's like the money go to crac but SSBC IMHO could sure benefit more from the money!!! and it WOULD actually go towards helping the fish we all honor so much!!!!  Jim, would you accept it if offered???

All that said...I still think it's your derby Rick and your call on who you give the money too period...
(finally able to see well enough to just barely read all this b.s....call my ugly!!!)

More good news for sustainable habitat of the Chilliwack River for steelhead and salmon.  Yesterday I received word from the Pacific Salmon Foundation – Community Salmon Program that they have indeed approved our grant application for $10,000.00 for funding help with the stabilization of the Anderson Run Clay Slide.  Along with our previous funding from Van City CU, donations and the approval from the Bingo Affiliation BC Gaming Commission we now have sufficient funding to proceed with implementing the most important work in the engineer’s Conceptual Design of Bank Stabilization Works Anderson Run Slide Chilliwack BC  during the summer of 2009. 

 

We are now working on the process of obtaining the Sec. 9 Water Act approvals/notification for working in and about a stream.
