Got up there yesterday and got 2 dollies and 2 cutts. :)
Water has come up BIG time with tons of debris around.
Georgeous day though.Time well spent.
I even jumped off the boat into the water. :D
VERY refreshing ;D As short lived as it was ;D
Hope to get back soon.

Excellent Randofish , glad to here . I did not have the chance to get out on the weekend but I will this week end  :P . I pulled out the downrigger and made some adjustments to make it fit on the gunnel of my boat so I am going to try that . I do not have a fish finder /depth sounder but I was told to troll at 15 ft. . With the lake coming up maybe I will drop it down another couple feet . I will be spoon casting as well so to save on fuel  ;D

I went on Saturday and launched the canoe before the narrows. Unfortunately the wind played havoc on me because I got there about noon. Should have been there earlier in the day. Had the downrigger and plugs all ready for the big bad boys but couldn't track in the wind at all. Lots of garbage almost got my gas money back in beer and pop cans. Lots of shot gun shells/garbage on the way to Sayers. Nice day though and haven't been there for a few years, had a big lunch with me so at least I was biting. Will be back soon.

you can see them making a mess on youtube:

They did have a RCMP road block , but it wasn't until that Sunday on the long week end so all the rip raff had already been there making a mess of the place . I'm not saying that about everyone that was there camping because there are quite a few that pack out what they pack  in . It's the a$$wipes that take those beater cars out there and burn them . That spells disaster with the gas and oil leaking into the water  >:(.
