Nice fish indeed, and certainly fantastic to see a young angler such as yourself can enjoy and appreciate good quality of fishing without travelling too far. I also just want to bring up the point that some have made about the last fish photo, which shows the fish was laying on soil instead of water. One can only do his or her best of course, so no blames are intended here. My suggestion would be,
fish look better in the water when taking photos.
Although the fish was on the ground for a few seconds, some damages could still take place. I doubt any harm was done to the fish's vital systems, but scale and slime loss can also lead to serious issues later on. This concern is especially voiced for fish populations that are on the decrease in recent years, such as the Fraser Valley wild coastal cutthroat trout.
It's a learning process, and suggestions can never hurt. I once took released fish photos like those, not anymore.
