DAY AT THE RIVER

I didn't really plan to go fishing today, but I got frustrated with my dentist appointment in the morning/excuse/,so I went again /4th day in the row/. On the way up I called my buddy Scott.I met him  at the crossing around noon. We  walk down the stream and fish every piece of decent water.... without any results.
In the last spot we would fish, he shouted at me,that he saw fish roll in the tale out. While he was casting into the tale out, I put on new bait and throw it out there.I felt light tap on the line and shortly after mi float disappeared.I set the hook and line got tide.7 min later beautifully 14lb hatchery  buck got landed. Finally I can go back to work.....

Congrats on the fish!  I was the guy across the river from you and Scott. I gave him heck for being so generous with that patch of water.. ::) I was actually going to beak you guys out from my side but decided not to...
I was surprised you got the fish in after that fight with the steep bank and the bushes!
