I will not be in the Chilliwack area until the derby day.  Can you buy tickets over the phone?

Thanks
Sorry, no Ian but I will send you an e mail as I can help you out on this.

I caught a 2-ft pikeminnow BY ACCIDENT at Alouette a couple of days ago.  Had no idea.  Looked up the Synopsis, and found that it looked most like the bull trout, so I thought I caught one and got so excited.  Took it to Hatch Match'r for verification, and they told me it was a squawfish, and that it was only good for fertilizer?  :(

Anyways, since it is a native fish, if you want to protect the sockeye, why not close down the fish farms, instead of exterminating another species of fish.

Why does fishing out pikeminnows (a native fish) draw so much less controversy than fishing out carp (an exotic) anyways?

There will be prises for pikeminnows at the derby on Sunday.

Also pikeminnows are edible I know we had to eat some to please my daughter. Taste like cod. The problem is they have more fine bones than a herring. I hear they are good smoked and Rod told me they make good soup.

Hi, I was wondering how I could order my tickets without going all the way to Chiliwack?

I concur with this.  They make perfectly good stock for soup, stew and such, and have a pretty good flavour.

I figure the reason why they're considered such a pain in the *** is because westerners don't have much of a culture for boiled fish products.

If you are coming to the derby a reminder to buy your ticket by 5 pm tomorrow to qualify for the draw prizes. Nick tells me he has 200 excellent draw prizes to be given out.

If you want crap to fill up your garage, I can easily load up a car full of it in Richmond and deliver to Chilliwack. ;D
