Just hung my new rod holder up made from some scrap A grade plywood and 8 screws (ok 16 including mounting it)
That should kill the afternoon.

If you have an old broomstick and a knife you can carve crankbaits till the cows come home.  Rapala, Tomic, Yozuri, any kind you like.  I drilled mine out and strung wire leader material through to hold the hooks.  The diving lips can be fashioned from plastic guitar picks or whatever you can find.  If you have time, space, and money you can make me an 8‘ pram or dinghy like the ones on bateau.com.  I don‘t need the sailing rig, just the oar power model.  My birthday‘s in August.  ;D

Ive seen some cool homemade centerpins on youtube. also seen a cool 'beer bottle cap fishing lure' that can easily homemade. you could make a pontoon boat?

I built one of those a few years ago.  Best diy fishing project yet.  And a wicked little boat to boot.
