Are you going to the Fraser Valley Boat & Sportsmen's Show?
« on: February 23, 2005, 09:55:33 PM »

We are now under ten days until the first day of Fraser Valley Boat & Sportsmen's Show. Trout Slayer, DW, Chrome Mykiss, Steelhead King, Itosh and I will be at the Kids Fly Tying Booth throughout the weekend and we look forward to see some of the members at the show. Our booth is directly in front of the Pro Fishing Seminar Stage, so you can sit and listen to Vic Carrao talking about fishing for salmon and sturgeon, while your kids tie up a couple of deadly flies behind you. :D

Post a reply if you are coming.

Sure am, been looking forward to this for many months now. I've never been before, are many vendors open to working deals or are they fixed on their prices? How have you guys/gals that have gone found the prices compared to in store pricing?

Nice to see quite a few of you will be there. :) It's going to be exciting.

Fred's, Nikka, Steveston, Hubs will be some of the vendors that you may get deals on products. I think when coming to these shows, the main purpose would be to spend lots of time trying out all the products out there so you have a better idea on what to buy in the future.

Don't forget to enter and win this at the show!

Now I really want to go...  ;D :D

The problem being...my parents are working all week end, can I maybe a get a ride out there with someone ? I'm out near UBC, but can get anywhere in Vancouver in the morning. I'll chip in for gas money and anything else you want. Any time over the week end.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
