I am planning to head out to the Squamish area. :D
What are some good fly fishing rivers, and directions. Thanks!

Squamish & Mam. of cource.

anyone have any maps of good areas to go on the Squamish or mam, that they are willing to share.been many years since, also heard that there is lots of area that are prohibited due to access rights.

No need for maps...take Governement road to the Mamquam bridge/Squamish confluence, fish there ... possible gong show. Travel north more, go up Judd road to Fisherman's park - good tailout there. Else head up the valley towards the Cheakamus\Paradise Valley, water should be clearer, lots of spots there as well.

Hi Devo,
Thanks for the info. What is "government road"?
What's there in the water. I heard there are a lot of chums which will break my 6 flyrod.
If any of you guys wanna go sometimes, just pm me.
-
I figure since he wrote it with a capital, that its the name of a road there.
Goin for chums on a 6 is rough work. I've seen it done, but you'll be walking the dog quite often.
There are salmon moving through the system, also resident trout/dolly.
