Title: Stamp River open for chinook?

Does anybody know if they will allow retention on springs in the Stamp river this year? I was thinking of going for the weekend mid september but need to request days off work ahead of time.

including Stamp River and tributaries  Chinook Aug 25 - Dec 31, 2006 2 per day, only 1 over 77 cm
Coho Aug 25 - Dec 31, 2006 2 per day, wild or hatchery.  May possess 4 in the aggregate.
Tidal boundary at Papermill Dam on the Somass R. to boundary signs approx. 1 km upstream (Falls Rd. Gravel Pit and the southernmost end of Collins Farm/Arrow Vale Campground-Hector Rd.); and, from boundary signs located approx. 500 m downstream of Stamp R. Falls to boundary signs located approx. 200 m upstream (above) Stamp R. All  Aug 25 -  Nov 15, 2006 No fishing for salmon.

I believe there is also a bait ban in effect!!
