The boys from the Vancouver team are getting beat up pretty bad tonight.
Good thing it is not on TV so the suffering will be a little less except for those that are paying for it via PPV. ;D ;D ;D
-
Quit stealing my headlines Chris. ;D

I think it would have been wishful thinking for the fans to think the Canucks would sweep this season's series between them and the Ducks.....I think we did well to win 3 out of 4. Luongo will rebound tomorrow....he always plays well after being chased from the net. Hopefully, the rest of the team will follow suit. Bring on those Desert Dogs!
-
They will fall to Gretzky's boys too and then will fall out of the playoff race shortly after. ;D ;D ;D

Quit drinking Chris. Over indulgence will slow your reflexes for fishing tomorrow. ;D

Had you listened to me, you would have caught a steelhead this morning ;D
The boys will learn from tonight's performance and will be ready for their next opponent.
PS The teams from Calgary and Nashville also lost tonight.
-
I don't know. They can't even play bad enough to get the coach fired.
It just look mediocre all around.
The Sedins are getting hammered by opposing d-men. They can't cycle when they are pasted to the boards.
-
People need to stop jumping on and off the BW, a team can't be expected to win everynight... but that's what the Nuck's fan's seem to expect !! they will pull their boots up and bring the A game to the playoff's.. as for the Sedin's .. they look tired, maybe a night off would do them some good, bring Linden in for a game and let the twins sit and watch .. my two cents

That makes you pretty old there Chris which explains alot.
The reality check of the day is you are rolling right into the tank.
Mojo, get out and fish more and bash your hometown team less.
I feel for you Taranta fans. Must be rough.

Another reminder as after tonights loss the VC's are in trouble.

We are still gasping ;D

It's the same BS year after year with the nucks. I hope they do not make the playoffs, as they do not deserve to. There is a reason why they are in the same boat every year, and that is because they cannot play 3 FULL bloody periods and try their best every single night. It's the same 2 goal lead every night, then blowing it then losing the game. Tonight, they showed a total lack of disipline and carelessness. They just havent been able to get it through their heads for years and years. If they tried their best, and played 3 periods of hockey, I would support them as a team, even if they were last place in the standings. But I see the same lazy and careless mentality just about every night from the nucks. In order for them to go anywhere, some serious changes will have to be made, both mentally, and physically.
-
they should take a lesson from montreal
-
Ottawa is slipping big-time too :'(...... Im kinda worried now with Washington breathing down our backs :-\
Hopefully they smarten up and win the last 2 games of the season so they dont get booted right at the end :-\
How does a team like Ottawa go from killer at the beginning to hardley making the playoffs at the end ??? ??? ???

Emery
-
Lol Emery hardley gets to play anymore, Gerber is their starter now which I think is awesome, stick with one guy and maybe they'll go somewhere.....
2 years ago Gerber was a solid playoff goalie, hopefully he can do the same this year ;)
GO SENS GO!!!!!!!
-
Sens won't go far in the playoffs. Alfredson is injured and might be out for couple of weeks.
-
atleast there making the playoffs
-
Mike Fisher is also out and may missed several weeks. Not a good time to be having injuries.
-
They'll pull through.... I have hope! ;)
-
The best thing to happen to nucks is to not make the playoffs this year. Nonis had his hands tied because of success/fluke last year and was not in a possition to make any big moves. They need an overhaulin and GM now better situated to do so, also better possible draft pick. We all knew they wouldn't get past first round anyways. Just my 2cents.
-
Nonis has no excuses now. There should be money to pursue free agents.

Extremely few FA's left that are worth pursuing...and thost that are will be pursued by about 25 other clubs. May have to go after restricted FA's or by way of trade. How about the Sedins for Malkin?? Hey, sometimes I dream about getting another double digit steelie day, too! LOL
-
Lol when was the last time u got a double digit Steely day? As for the Canucks I heard rumours of Luongo's wife not wanting to come to Vancouver, and by the way Luongo is talking, it doesn't seem that he likes the Canucks as his team..... just look at the comments he made tonight after the game : "I don't really care," Luongo said. "My season ended Thursday as far as I'm concerned. I tried to bring it but obviously I didn't have anything in the tank." Its not the first time he has made comments like this in the last week... he seem really frustrated, but at least he'll be able to spend some time with his new child now :D
As I see it these rumours may have potential of being true, only time will tell. There could be a big blockbuster trade this summer or maybe next year if things continue down this path which they may... I think the Canucks will not have a very good year next year, first of all because I'm pretty sure Linden is going to retire (and he is the heart and soul of that team, and the leader). Next Naslund will probably not be back which means they lose ther captian (and I don't care what people say they will miss Naslund, he is a good player when he's not whining). On top of that if the Luongo rumours are true they may lose their goalie who is the backbone of their team... Without those 3 people I think next year would be a disaster.
Even the Leafs will be better off ;D ;D ::)

Good luck with that Chris.... they may be losing Sundin this summer, don't even get me started on how bad that would be for the Leafs.
They can't win without him, he's like Naslund and Linden combined.... The Leafs depend on him just like Ottawa depends on Alfie ;D ;D
