Here we have a NOS (new old stock) early Fenwick glass rod. Suitable for trolling, or flyfishing, depending on how built up. The latest "rage" is using soft glass rods for soft mouthed fish like kokanee, "downrigger" style. Or fish it fly, as glass is slower and softer, flexing sometimes right into the handle with a large fish.
Fenwick later went to to the feralite sleeve over brown rods later in their history. This one is a 9-footer, line 8.
