Just an observation but it seems like the quality of fish pics being posted latley has been decreasing. Not that I'm bashing people for sharing their pics but is it really necessary to post pics of dead fish in your kitchen sink. I for one have far more appreciation of a fish in the anglers hands immediatly after being caught. But then again maybe its just me ???

Referring to it as fish porn is a little disturbing. . . ;D

What are you new ;D Some of us get off to that sort of thing 8)

And don't want to leave camera unattended for stealing.
-
Just keep your camera in your waders/coat. Plus if your camera gets wet all you have to do is dry it out for a few days and it will be fine.
-
Well my camera is always in the back of my vest, my vest doesn't come off until I take out the camera!!!!! Thus, I don't worry about having it stolen!! I do worry about ruining it in the rain though, so I only take pics of wilds if it is not raining that hard, and if I don't have to keep a hold of them for a while!! That is why I did't get pics of my ho's this weekend. It was raining heavy, and it would have taken an extra couple of minutes of holding on to them to get the camera. Now if I had a cameraman like Rod I would have no problem with this. ;D ;D But we are all not as lucky as Rod!!!! ;D ;D

It seems more guys that are catching and posting are fishing solo, which means, it's tough to get a shot of you and your piscatorial prey. I agree though, gutted fish in a sink don't do the same for me as a fresh caught fish, recently ripped from his/her happy migration to their ulimate opportunity to "get lucky" ;D

I keep mine in a zip lock baggie in the back of my backpack and I have never had a problem including going into the Chehalis Canyon.

It's amazing how they are still almost starting to turn in the ocean already :o
Nope they start turning once they are out of the water for a while. Their are some boots in the salt as well but most are nice and chrome.
