St Mary's Lake this time of year?
« on: September 25, 2005, 07:43:49 PM »

So my wife just told me we can get away for a long weekend starting THURSDAY!  So real quick I'm hoping someone can tell me what the situation is likely to be at ST. Mary's Lake.  I can't remember where I put my license, let along the regulations . . .

Hi Keith!
Very mixed generally nothing like May/June.
The cool rainy summer will have helped but count on little to no surface action and generally slow fishing.

If no surface action would trolling or bait fishing be good?  Thank you

Thanks, Sam.  Turns out we're not going after all.  I'd heard it was much slower at this time of year, but I thought, with all those fish in there I'd be bound to catch a few.
