Yeah im heading out with a buddy either way i guess we'll just scout and mayyybe if we're lucky find a spot holding fish... anyways for those heading up tomorrow good luck and hope to see some pics at night... cheers

Chehalis may be a better bet at this water level and clarity.

9 a. m. Sunday

Checked the Vedder at the #1 hwy. bridge and visibility has improved to around a foot visbility, not satisfactory for me yet but, by the afternoon??? possible :-\

damnation...i'm sitting here in Blaine, my buddies gone duck blasting, i know it..and i'm debating on the hour plus drive up...ah well, maybe a day to practice my fly casting and watch the play offs...hope this weather sticks for a few so it clears up and comes down some....thanks for the update Chris..

Just checked it at Lickman and it looks good enough to give it a try so I may slip out later. I fish only the Lower in most cases. I hear the dirty water is coming in from the native land just above the Crosssing hence the upper is in good shape. Did not think it would have cleared so quickly.

I thought this too, so I took a trip to Chehalis. Slow day, only one Hatch Steelhead that I heard about. Water WAS nice and clear though.
