Was fishing lower today and witnessed Nick Basok cr a brute of a wild only to land a 11.5lb hatchery doe. Beautiful fish. Well done Nick!!!

You know it's a year full of small fish when we are calling 10 pounders "monsters".

This one was about 3 lbs according to our weight police.

It looks like a typical 3 pounder but hey, I don't want to beat a deader than dead horse by starting weight arguments. Best way is to get a fish scale, most people are shocked when they see the reading LOL  8)

I got 6 portions out of it. That's 3 meals for my wife and I (and a little for the two year old).
