Just for kicks, I thought of a few phrases I'm sure have been said around the KWB a time or 2. Feel free to add on.
I think my spinning reel is broken, I have to reel backwords to get it to work
hey Bob, what size float are you using with your bouncing betty?
Don't worry, I've got 80# tough line, I'll get it in

here is one i actually heard on the river, it wasnt at kwb,it was during the pink run,but im sure it has been said more than once at kwb.

lol yea.... took awhile for those buggers to actually start biting this year, almost every one I saw in August/Early/mid September were snagged.

The secret to catching these fish is the use of a looooong leader. They're light biters so you have to set your hook on every cast. ;D

I must need more weight, my float is laying on its side.

Im having such a good year that i needed to buy a second licence.
It wasnt that dark before i bonked it.
I can hardly wait for Sockeye season.

No its not snagged, when you really get the fish mad they tail whip it.

I hooked my friend in the neck once.... he was standing behind me when I lost a fish... the weight came flying back and the hook caught him in the neck and gave him a pretty nice gash ::)
I've once heard someone say to a fly-fisherman....
"Could you please stop taking so much room to cast, or maybe move farther away from me, your hook is freaking me out."

That's funny. I now mostly fly fish (not sturgeon obviously), and I have not yet hit flesh with my fly.

Yea fly fishing is addictive, once you've hooked a coho, or spring on your rod like I did this year you never wanna quit, I started fly-fishing in the 1st week of November with my new fly-rod and caught 10 coho and around 12 chum and 1 spring, I can't figure out why every one moves when a fly-fisher walks in though b/c most of us know exactly where our hook is going - hopefully. Some 1 better get this thread back on topic lol.

my favourites are: "OMG! It's in the mouth!!!!!!!!", "I got the heavy bouncing gear, 5/0 hook, betties, and tuff line main, and leader. Should I go heavier?"
